Monaghan Integrated Development CLG (via SICAP Social Enterprise Supports) has officially wrapped up our 4-session Business Planning Workshop!

We are so proud of the 7 social enterprises who completed the course and walked away with tailored business plans ready for funding and strategic growth.

Thank you to all our participants for your dedication throughout the past month! A huge thank you to trainer Michael Quigley for his excellent delivery, excellent materials, and dedicated one-to-one mentoring.

Special gratitude as well to Castleblayney Community Enterprise Centre for hosting us and helping make this program such a success.

What a wonderful celebration of culture, connection and community at our first Latin American Cultural Event in Monaghan!

Through Migrant Support Monaghan, we were delighted to bring people together to share food, music, dance, traditions and stories from across Latin America. 🇸🇻 🇳🇮 🇧🇷 🇪🇸 🇲🇽 🇻🇪 🇧🇴

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, attended and helped make the event such a success. Your enthusiasm, creativity and generosity made it a very special afternoon.

Events like this create opportunities for people to connect, share a little piece of home and build a stronger sense of belonging within our community.

Launch of People Power 2026

“Monaghan Integrated Development, Monaghan County Council and Monaghan PPN are working with KW Research and Associates to undertake an audit of the community and voluntary sector in County Monaghan. We are calling on all groups in the community to take 15-20 minutes to complete the survey.

A county wide survey of the community and voluntary sector was last undertaken in 2005, and County Monaghan has changed in the past 21 years. The findings of this survey of Monaghan’s community and voluntary groups will enable Monaghan Integrated Development, Monaghan County Council and Monaghan PPN to better understand the challenges facing the community and voluntary sector and provide the supports that are needed.

Our Corduff/Raferagh Active Retirement Group just wrapped up a fantastic 4-week phone course, and it was a huge success! From mastering photo ordering and navigating settings, to sending WhatsApp pictures and setting important appointment reminders, everyone learned so many valuable new skills.

A massive thank you to Ellish from CMETB for facilitating such a brilliant course, and a special shoutout to our own Mathew for his wonderful help when we called out to see them.
