What a way to finish the season 🏆👏

Last Friday night saw the finale of our Team League season at Castlebar Racquetball Club, with Team Z, led by Kevin Jennings, coming out on top after an incredibly close battle with Team D, captained by Brian Flannery.

After the teams finished level on points, the title came down to total match points won — with Team Z edging victory in a thrilling 290 to 282 points to finish! 💪🔥

It’s been a fantastic season filled with plenty of competitive matches, great craic, lots of new faces and the welcome return of many familiar ones.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part throughout the season. We’re already looking forward to welcoming even more new players when we return in September 🎾

🏆2026 Team League Winners 🏆

Team Z are the winners of the 2026 Team League. The match with Team D went down to the final game. AS a result both teams were on 12 points each. On the count back of points scored in all the games, Team Z won by a mere 8 points.

✨Annual Team League Semi Finals ✨

Our team league semi-finals take place on Tuesday, evening May 12th and Wednesday evening,May 13th at the courts in An Sportlann.

📆The Team League Final will take place on Friday 2nd May

✨Congratulations to our All Ireland medal winners at the 2026 All Ireland Singles & Doubles Championships in Kingscourt, Co Cavan✨

🏆🏆Fiona Kyne is the All Ireland D Singles Champion and also the Intermediate Doubles Champion for 2026.

🥇🥇She followed up on her 2025 All Ireland Novice Singles title and came out on top when the round robin matches in the D Dingles were completed on Sunday. She was partnered in the Doubles by Niamh Murphy from Wexford to win the Intermediate Doubles.

🥈In the Men's Championships, Darragh Joyce won silver in a very competitive C Singles. He was defeated in the Final by Joseph Farrell of Arklow.

🥈Lucy Murphy reached the final in the Women Novice Singles but was defeated by Sophie O'Flynn of Fermoy.

🥈🥈Lucy Murphy and Niamh McDonnell also won silver medals in the Women's Intermediate Doubles.
