After delays due to the need to meet planning conditions, with the resultant costs, the project is, once again, gaining momentum! But this time it's bigger and better! A project that now includes Carrigaline Basketball Club , Owenabue Special Olympics Gymnastics Club, Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Carrigaline as well as Carrigaline Athletics Club and Carrigaline Rugby. As many of you know, work has been ongoing for a number of years to secure a much needed home ground. Thanks to the The Southern Star for this indepth article. Some text excerpts in the pictures above.
It may be taking longer than we would like but we are hopeful that things are moving in the right direction.
There is huge will within the club to grow rugby in Carrigaline. We will keep going.

We kicked off the season with a men's squad for the first time in many years. We had a fundraising swim and table quiz. Lots of enthusiasm from our fantastic underage players at blitz's and training. Some great wins for the lads playing at U18.5's. And we finished off with rugby for girls.
We are lucky to have lots of people involved in the club who love rugby and want Carrigaline Rugby to thrive.
