I'm absolutely deligted to be one of the 100+ makers featured in Shanna's Alladin's cave of Irish craft treasures. has a truly exquisite selection of local contemporary craft. I highly recommend a visit to this shop in Bray if you are looking for a meaningful gift👌

I developed a new design for a commission of a giant mug for a friend who wanted 2 cups of tea in a mug, so he didn't have to go and make the second one. The surface treatment is a combo of carving, slip and oxides inspired by woodlands, trees, bark and all things wood. (Our friend is a wood enthusiast)
I have some smaller mugs available in the same design available and some will be coming with me to my Christmas markets😊 What do you think?

After a house move to Carlow and a winter fiddling on the computer learning new digital skills, I recently had a chance to take some pics of my dear friend Tanya and her adorable deaf dog, Milo, in her beautiful kitchen. I was hoping to capture an intimate, domestic moment of mindfulness among kindred spirits😊

The impact aeroplanes have on the environment is substantial but each of us can make a difference by choosing to buy local as much as possible. Thankfully, Irish makers all over the country produce an amazing variety of art and craft, ideal for Christmas presents. These gifts are extra special because they are made by humans, who put their life force and intention into every single object😊

Keeping it local this year and excited to be attending the very first edition of this event. Should be well worth a visit and I will be there with my pots this Friday and Saturday 😊
