Hi Everyone,
Apologies for the lack of activity ove the last number of months.
We've had issues with staffing levels over the last number of months, and that has been the reason with the delay in starting back the CoderDojo.
As staffing levels have been an issue, we are not going to be able to run the CoderDojo on a Saturday anymore. We are looking at running the Dojo on the last Wednesday of every month in the afternoons from 4-5pm as a trial run.
We are going to run 2 x 1-off events for October (26th) & November (30th) to test the demand and also get an idea of the level of knowledge.
We'll then hopefully run the 6 sessions course from January to June - (hopefully in our newly built Makerspace).
If you want to put your name down for the October & November sessions, can you please ring the library on 01-8358185 or e-mail [email protected]
The sessions will be for kids aged 7-13 years and we'll be working with Scratch 3.0.
Hi Everyone.
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to create a sprite using the paint option, modify existing sprites and how to upload and edit your own sprite from a picture.

As the library is closed and we cannot hold our Coder sessions in person, we can only focus on beginner projects. For any advances coders, they could try some of the harder project on www.scratch.mit.edu
