Travel isn’t just an escape anymore.

The world is shifting fast, and more people are using travel to test where they want to live, what they want their life to look like, and what actually matters to them.

Bali is a soul touching Island in every way.
Not just the beauty — the reverence.
Offerings on sidewalks. Fire ceremonies. Ancient ruins. People whose presence is now etched into my heart. And some very cool building techniques I enjoyed learning about from the team at BioArc.

Watching how differently people are building now.
Less “vision board fantasy.” More: what does the world actually need and how do we keep it light.

My real contract is with Mother Earth. She’s the primary stakeholder. And it’s nice when she’s respected!

After her — the people. Local community. Neighbors. Indigenous stewards.
If what we’re building doesn’t serve them... we might as well not begin.

Bali was a country that touched my soul - the reverence of the people, the beauty of its nature, and long rooted traditions and culture. I got to visit water temples, fire ceremonies, and ancient ruins.

Jungle Palace is an incredible project to work on and grateful I get to call this “work”. Regenerative travel is usually a buzz word I hear - but really it’s just helping homies with their land projects in nature.

As these beautiful projects weave together, a rich tapestry of life and acupuncture points around the world are becoming more and more visible and viable.

This months newsletter, “057: Building What Lasts…”, dives into my personal journey from producing events & big dreams to my journey building a retreat center in Costa Rica — and all the hard truths about what it actually takes to build community, steward land & build retreats or operational businesses of any kind.

This issues also features a nice podcast with crew at Mindform where we dive into all of the above at length! More on LivethePossibility.news

Much love

My site visits have taken me to the South of Costa Rica lately. Beach towns like Playa Dominicalito, Uvita, and the neighborhoods around! I really am grateful to collaborate with incredible teams like and incredible clients who dare to think differently!

For this month’s LSA Workshop Series, I sat down with Gabriel Saragovia, founder of Rio Perdido—a hidden-gem of a thermal spa and lodge.

We dug into tourism, development, and sustainability as Costa Rica booms—how do we grow without losing what makes this place magic? 🇨🇷

Design for travelers who care—about nature, wellness, and culture.

What followed was honest, hopeful, and at times confronting—a conversation with a Costa Rican whose opinion I deeply respect.

Site visits take me to some beautiful places. This one took me to an incredible cacao farm in the Turrialba region of Costa Rica. Finca Dos Lagunas is a beautiful example of organic agriculture and a family legacy. It was a beautiful adventure into the Volcanic countryside of the Cartago province!

Costa Rica is still a canvas for what’s possible—ecology, democracy, wellbeing. That’s why so many with good hearts show up to build. But unchecked retreat centers and eco-villages can feel more like extraction than regeneration.

The wiser path?
• Go slow.
• Listen to the land and people.
• Revitalize what exists before building.
• Collaborate instead of competing.

I’ve seen countless projects crash from rushing in without context. These days, my work is about slowing people down—making sure a vision is truly needed, feasible, and in integrity with place.

💡 Sometimes the right move isn’t a retreat center or massive land project. It’s just a home, a connection, a step into the fabric of the local culture.
