Winning the title of Miss University Nepal in 2006, I learnt that anything is possible! Have had a fantastic time working as a lead actress in some great Nepali and Indian movies ever since. Continuing my education in Media Studies currently, I believe in in being happy, sharing love and positivity around me. So come, join me in this journey to celebrate life!!!

Dear friends,
We welcome you to the screening of the film “Girl From Nepal” at the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival The film is a tribute to love, and captures a romantic moment which happens during the Soviet Union times. We invite you to re live the experience that we all have; the ones who have felt the aura of the Soviet Union in one way or the other. The film is made by Usha Rajak, a Nepali actor and director, and and is shot entirely in Kyrgyzstan. Please come and enjoy the short and sweet romance.

Date: 30th May, Saturday.

Dear Dostoevsky, Dear Tolstoy, Dear Chekhov, Dear Chingiz Aitmatov, Lenin, Tsars, ballet, yurts, CCCP… a tribute to the romanticism of the Soviet Union era… “Girl From Nepal” is showing today at Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival.

Sharing this clip, inspired by Satyajit Ray: something that I grew up watching. My mother’s fascination with Ray’s art; her binge watching Mandi, Shatranj ke Khiladi, and others made me into this nostalgic romantic. Thankful to co-director for making this vision come alive on the screen. Pinch me. I’m living a dream. Join us at the festival today. Showing at 6 pm. Chhaya Centre. Audi 2.

Shape of Momo, a fabulously curated film by storyteller is being shown all around Nepal and India. The film speaks volumes about the struggles of identity in changing societies in South Asia. I highly recommend it. Watch it near theatres around you. 🥟🌻💓🩵 🥟
