Alocasia corazon takes a different path, relying on texture, depth, and a remarkable silvery glow.

Not the rarest Alocasia.
Not the newest.
Yet Alocasia watsoniana remains one of the most beautiful.
Alocasia × Cyrtosperma — a cross that has no formal documentation in Araceae.
This is Furkon Muhammad, an aroid collector from Kuningan, Indonesia. Through deliberate manual pollination, he attempted something the botanical literature has never confirmed before — a cross between two different genera within Araceae.
No genetic proof yet. But the plant is growing.
Full documentary coming to the channel.

We deliberately crossed Alocasia and Cyrtosperma — two different genera within Araceae.
This is the result.
No confirmed genetic proof yet. No documented precedent in botanical literature. Just morphology that does not fit cleanly into either genus.
Is this even possible? We want to hear from you.

A small detail that makes a big difference.
Syzygium verstegii is often confused with Syzygium jiewhoei, but one of the easiest features to spot is the shape of the fruit’s apex.
On S. verstegii, the tip is usually more pronounced, while S. jiewhoei tends to be rounder.
Have you ever seen either species in person?
