This year's Vektor VR selection features works that reflect the changes affecting our world. The selected productions illustrate the long-term effects of the changes in our environment, the characteristics of the Anthropocene era and violence and its mechanisms. Some of the works in the selection show the horrors of war, not in its harshness, but its invisible unfolding and its effects on the individual, leaving the responsibility of interpretation to the viewer.

A Vektor VR idei válogatásában olyan alkotásokat mutatunk be, amelyek a világunkat érintő változásokra reflektálnak. Olyan érzéseket és tapasztalatokat jelenítenek meg, amelyek a VR médiumán keresztül erőteljesen hatnak és reflektálni is segítenek egy-egy adott élethelyzetre. A beválogatott produkciók bemutatják a környezetünk változásának hosszútávú hatásait, az antropocén kor jellegzetességét és az erőszakot, annak mechanizmusait. A válogatás több alkotása is láttatja a háború borzalmait, de nem a maga nyersességében, hanem annak láthatatlan kibontakozását és az egyénre gyakorolt hatásait, a nézőre hagyva az értelmezés felelősségét.

At our latest hackathon we tricked our collegues a bit and we switched the roles of our frontend and backend developers. They spent one day with a different perspective, supported each other in their new role, mastered 10 new technologies and not to mention the results! Four well-delivered ToDo apps! Well done team! [During this experiment, no human were harmed!]
