📌 Alerts in the Schengen Information System are an important tool for tracking and protecting across Europe.

✅On 17 June, in our , organised by the Knowledge Centre on law enforcement cooperation, information exchange and interoperability, learn how you can effectively use such alerts in missing persons investigations and preventive procedures.

Our aim is to enhance the use of Schengen Information System (SIS) functionalities, improving cross-border cooperation and ensuring high-quality data sharing for immediate, coordinated action.

🔵 CEPOL strengthens training capacities to counter fi****ms trafficking in Egypt.

Law enforcement officials from Egypt gathered in Cairo from 31 May to 4 June 2026 for a Train-the-Trainers course on ****ms trafficking organised by CEPOL under the project.

The activity strengthened participants' capacity to plan, design and deliver specialised training on fi****ms trafficking, supporting the sustainable transfer of knowledge within institutions.

Delivered with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior and the engagement of , the course contributes to stronger national capacities to address organised , terrorism and violent extremism.

🛡️Strengthening capacity to conduct structured OSINT investigations across complex online environments.

✅Between 20 April and 15 May, 60 law enforcement professionals from 24 EU Member States, 1 associated country, 4 candidate countries and 2 international organisations attended our course on advanced techniques for OSINT collection and analysis, delivered in cooperation with OSCE – The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe

Participants enhanced their ability to collect, assess, corroborate, analyse, and present open-source information in a professional and operationally secure manner.The training also addressed key legal, ethical, human rights, and data protection considerations, including the responsible use of AI in OSINT-related activities.

🙌 Congratulations to our participants on completing the training! We wish them every success in their future OSINT investigations.
