MEDIA CLARIFICATION || Oil Production Data is available to the public.
The Ministry of Natural Resources wishes to remind and highlight to members of the public and interested stakeholders that oil production data is available via the Ministry’s Petroleum Management Programme website: https://petroleum.gov.gy/data-visualization
The Petroleum Management Programme website was created in 2021 which provided information and updates relating to the Petroleum Sector such as on Local Content, the hallmark Gas-to-Energy project as well as production reports via the Data Visualization Centre. Also, users can easily access data on oil production by both the Liza Destiny and Unity floating production storage and offloading vessels (FPSOs); reinjected and flared natural gas; gas production; water production and water injection. This data is updated monthly following the auditing of production reports issued to the government by the operator of the Stabroek Block – Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited.
