Better Drivers Driving Education
Located in Harmon, just down from DMV. Route 16 (Army Drive) at the Guam Hardwood complex Family Business offering driving education for everyone on Guam.
People always ask me if my in person or online class is best. It seems to me that those that choose the in person class because they "learn better in person" spend more time in my bathroom than actually listening to my lectures or watching the videos. If you choose in person realize that you have one opportunity to learn (unless you choose to attend the sessions over and over....which is an option!). So try to stay focused and listen, take notes, and avoid drinking too much liquid before class so you can sit through! Online option, you can take those bathroom breaks, review as much as you want, take your time and really learn the material -- all from the comfort of your own home. Your choice~!

Please don't fall for FAKE Driving schools!
A senator is exploring the idea of eliminating driver Ed for anyone over 21. I’m interested in what the people of Guam think of this.
The year and a half it takes to get a full license through graduated licensing is a huge difficulty for people over 21 trying to get to work. We are in agreement with taking the waiting requirement away from adults.
However, a safety briefing is appropriate in any activity that has an element of risk.
At the bare minimum, an adult driver should have a safety briefing from an expert before jumping in the car and driving up and down the road. What do you think ? Please comment.
"Don't be surprised by obvious stuff" means some things that happen don't even fall under the "expect the unexpected" category.
They just happen and new drivers need to learn to not be surprised by things experienced drivers would consider obvious. (like the vehicle in. front of you turns in to the gas station.)
It's a learning curve and we help with that.

"Don't be oblivious to what might happen and don't over-react to stuff that's not even happening." That's what we teach.
Young drivers could use some help to find that balance. We have specific strategies to teach teens how to stay ahead of the curve and not be surprised by "what's next". 😎 Class is about getting your permit by learning the rules; the lessons are about driving *after* the road test when real life kicks in!
