Customer states vehicle has no power during take off or going up hills.
Scanned PGM-FI showed multi fault codes stored indicating VVT system malfunction on bank 2 cylinder. Also found major oil leak from bank 2 top of the cylinder head near the valve cover and VVT unit.
customer just told me that some random local body shop had repaired his car for oil leak and paid over $1500 .
Well…. Oil is still leaking plus now engine is running like s**t due to your expertise crafted repairs you did.

All you had do is replaced that $8.00 vvt seal/o-ring but now customer is going to pay for the whole new VVT set, my labor plus diagnosis. Total $1/3 of what you had charged.

Towed-in and will not start.
This is what I found after 2 hours of diagnosis.
Another burnt DME unit.
This section of DME controls fuel delivery system. What would cause this problem?
BEEMERs are very sensitive to battery voltage.
When you have low battery voltage DO NOT keep crank your vehicle to get it to start. Also DO NOT try to jump your car using jumper cable.
Recharge your battery out of the vehicle and get it start it. It will save you lots money and headaches.

BMW E46 Instrument cluster(IKE) inoperative. This is a very common problem with older BEEMERS. If you look closely at these photos, you will see the burnt printed circuit on this mother board. This will also affect your air conditioning system(IHK) and central locking control system(ZK). This is repairable and no replacement necessary.
