Στις 16 Ιουνίου 2026, μέλη του International Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Piraeus είχαν την ιδιαίτερη τιμή να επισκεφθούν το Πάρκο Ναυτικής Παράδοσης στο Τροκαντερό και να ξεναγηθούν σε τρία εμβληματικά σύμβολα της ελληνικής ναυτικής ιστορίας: το Θωρηκτό Γεώργιος Αβέρωφ, το Υποβρύχιο Πρωτεύς και την Τριήρης Ολυμπιάς.

Η επίσκεψη αποτέλεσε ένα μοναδικό ταξίδι στην ιστορία και την παράδοση της ελληνικής ναυτοσύνης, αναδεικνύοντας τη διαχρονική συμβολή του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού και των ανθρώπων της θάλασσας στη διαμόρφωση της εθνικής μας ταυτότητας.

⚓ Propeller Club Port of Piraeus Visits the Maritime Tradition Park

On June 16, 2026, members of the International Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Piraeus had the privilege of visiting the Maritime Tradition Park at Trocadero and touring three iconic symbols of Greece’s rich maritime heritage: the Battleship Georgios Averof, the Submarine Proteus and the Olympias Trireme.

The visit offered a unique journey through the history and legacy of Greek seafaring, highlighting the enduring contribution of the Hellenic Navy and generations of seafarers to the nation's maritime identity.

Our sincere appreciation goes to everyone involved in organizing this memorable visit and for providing our members with an inspiring experience of history, knowledge and pride.

Με ιδιαίτερη τιμή και αίσθημα ευθύνης ανακοινώνω την υποψηφιότητά μου για τη θέση του Governor του Propeller Club.

Η ναυτιλία υπήρξε πάντοτε για εμένα κάτι περισσότερο από ένας επαγγελματικός χώρος. Είναι ένας ζωντανός οργανισμός που ενώνει ανθρώπους, ιδέες, επιχειρήσεις και πολιτισμούς, αποτελώντας διαχρονικά έναν από τους σημαντικότερους πυλώνες της ελληνικής οικονομίας και της διεθνούς παρουσίας της χώρας μας.

Τα τελευταία χρόνια είχα την ευκαιρία να υπηρετήσω τον κλάδο μέσα από διαφορετικούς ρόλους, συνεργασίες και πρωτοβουλίες. Με την ίδια συνέπεια, χαμηλούς τόνους και διάθεση προσφοράς, θέτω σήμερα τον εαυτό μου στη διάθεση των μελών του Propeller Club.

Πιστεύω σε ένα Club ανοιχτό, εξωστρεφές και ισχυρό, που θα συνεχίσει να αποτελεί σημείο αναφοράς για τη ναυτιλία, την επιχειρηματικότητα και τη νέα γενιά στελεχών που καλείται να οδηγήσει τον κλάδο στο μέλλον.

Στόχος μου είναι να συμβάλω με όλες μου τις δυνάμεις στην περαιτέρω ανάπτυξη του Club, στην ενίσχυση των σχέσεων μεταξύ των μελών και στην προώθηση των αξιών, που διαχρονικά το χαρακτηρίζουν.

It is with great honor and a deep sense of responsibility that I announce my candidacy for the position of Governor of the Propeller Club.

For me, shipping has always been more than a professional sector. It is a dynamic force that connects people, businesses, ideas, and nations, while remaining one of the strongest pillars of the Greek economy and our country's global presence.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving the maritime community through various professional roles, partnerships, and initiatives. With the same commitment, humility, and willingness to contribute, I now place myself at the service of the members of the Propeller Club.

I believe in a Club that is strong, outward-looking, and inclusive, continuing to serve as a leading platform for shipping, business development, and the next generation of maritime professionals.

My goal is to contribute to the Club's continued growth, strengthen the bonds among its members, and uphold the values that have distinguished it throughout its history.
