With less than a month to go until the 34th Annual Congress of the EAES - European Association for Endoscopic Surgery opens in Athens on June 23–26, 2026, preparations are underway for a scientific program shaped by this year’s theme: “From Hippocrates to Modern Surgical Innovation.”
Bridging the foundations of surgical practice with the technologies and techniques redefining the field today, the Congress will feature a comprehensive Scientific Programme, including an extensive series of Hands-on Courses and Masterclasses designed to offer participants both practical training and insight into the future of surgery.

🌍 AFEA Congress at IMEX Frankfurt 2026

AFEA Congress Team was proud to participate once again in IMEX Frankfurt 2026, the leading global trade show for the meetings and events industry, held from 19–21 May 2026 at Messe Frankfurt.
Attending as a hosted buyer and represented by our Senior Sales Executive, Anthie Renieri, hosted by Hilton , and our Project Manager, Lamprini Nikolidaki, hosted by IAPCO we had the opportunity identify suppliers and strategic partners for the organization of events and conferences abroad, fostering future collaborations and joint projects internationally.

Additionally, Sissi Lignou, attended IMEX further strengthening our presence within the global meetings industry community, in her dual role as CEO of AFEA Congress and President of IAPCO.

IMEX has always been an event that stands for diversity and the importance of intercultural exchange, giving a platform to countries across the world to share what makes them stand out, connecting suppliers and clients on a global level.

Με ιδιαίτερη επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκε το 1ο Πανελλήνιο Συνέδριο Ηλεκτροφυσιολογίας & Βηματοδότησης, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 21–23 Μαΐου 2026 στο Crowne Plaza Athens City Centre στην Αθήνα.

Το συνέδριο αποτέλεσε ένα σημαντικό σημείο συνάντησης για την ελληνική καρδιολογική κοινότητα, αναδεικνύοντας τις νεότερες εξελίξεις στην ηλεκτροφυσιολογία, την κατάλυση αρρυθμιών και τις σύγχρονες τεχνολογίες βηματοδότησης και απινίδωσης. Παράλληλα, το 1ο Πανελλήνιο Συνέδριο της Ομάδας Ηλεκτροφυσιολογίας σηματοδοτεί την έναρξη ενός νέου επιστημονικού θεσμού, αφιερωμένου σε έναν ιδιαίτερα σημαντικό και διαρκώς εξελισσόμενο τομέα της καρδιολογίας, συνεχίζοντας την έως σήμερα επιτυχημένη επιστημονική δραστηριότητα της Ομάδας
