In Eastern Europe, we need to be especially mindful of history and the sensitivities that come with it.
Our AI-generated map included a Polish landmark under the Lithuanian flag on a stage where the rally travels through Lithuania and finishes in Poland. While the information was technically correct, it lacked the historical awareness and cultural sensitivity the region deserves.
We've corrected the graphics so that each host country is represented by its own flag and its own landmarks. The updated version will appear in the roadbook.

The 2027 Bamako-Extreme Spirit Category cars were announced today. The Spirit Category cars are destined to preserve the rally's founding spirit can can join the rally without paying an entry fee. The 2027 lineup will feature a 1940s US made Buick turned into a monster and a Lincoln stretched limo turned into a WizzAir airplane.
