Happy International Literacy Day! 📚🎉
International Literacy Day, founded by UNESCO in 1966, reminds us that literacy is a matter of dignity and human rights. Celebrated on September 8th, it raises awareness about the relevance and challenges of education.
This year's theme, "Promoting literacy in the digital era," is particularly relevant today, as technology continues to shape the way we learn and interact with information. As Dr. Maria Teresa Rojas Garbanzo said, "Literacy in the digital era is not just about reading and writing, but about navigating, evaluating, and creating information in a rapidly changing world."
Digital literacy is therefore essential in our daily lives and crucial for fostering a resilient world for everyone. 🖊📚📝📖👩🏽🏫
