The Mandinka version: Join Mr Saikou Jabbi, a registered Nurse at Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital, as he talks about chronic Kidney disease, it’s symptoms, prevention and when to seek medical help.
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is the loss of kidney function which occurs over a period of months or years. Major Causes of CKD are Hypertension and Diabetic but other causes include Obesity, smoking and alcohol, lack of exercise, Family history, Kidney Infection, among others.
