If there’s one thing I find intriguing about weddings, it’s how the day is imbued with drama; from vendors not showing up at all or being late to the couple bailing on each other and everything else in-between.

Richmond and Mannye’s wedding was definitely not devoid of drama; amidst other happenings, their wedding reception would be threatened by the rain later in the day, their backdrop would collapse and the decor by .__ almost ruined (but only for them to party hard(er) after waiting out the rain). For me, this is another reminder about the importance of ‘the wait’ and the fact that eventually, all waves settle.

In this photo, Mannye’s dress is being fitted by three ladies from .made with Planner in the background to ensure that all goes according to plan. On the other side of the room are the MUA , photographers , videographers , family and friends, waiting to catch a glimpse of Mannye’s bridal look.
