Today, on this year’s World Metrology Day, I had the honour of participating in the celebration held at the Bonokyempem Hall in Techiman this morning. During the event, I encouraged the Ghana Standards Authority to intensify its operations so citizens can truly feel their presence and be protected from unfair practices and exploitation. Ghana can only develop when the right standards are upheld across all sectors of our national life. Standards promote trust, quality, fairness, and national growth.

We can’t compromise on standards.

Yesterday, I had the honour of signing the contract document for the construction of the 24-Hour Economy Model Market to be sited inTuobodom. The contractor is expected to report to site and commence work soon, reaffirming the commitment and promise of H.E John Dramani Mahama to promoting economic growth, job creation, and improved market infrastructure for our people through the 24-hour economy initiative. I take the opportunity to urge all residents in Tuobodom to cooperate with the Assembly as construction begins.

Today marks exactly a year since I was nominated by H.E John Dramani Mahama as the Techiman North Chief Executive. The journey has been challenging but successful. We keep learning everyday. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my people.
