Two years ago, our mercury-free concentrator and concentrate upgrader were deployed at Okutey Mines in Prestea Gambia as part of Solidaridad West Africa and Pact's "Promoting Mercury-free Gold Processing in Small-Scale Mining" project, funded by the U.S. Department of State.

According to Felix Amoah, the Safety Manager at the site, gold recovery rates jumped to 90%. We are thrilled to see the impact of a project that not only boosted productivity for small-scale miners but also helped reduce mercury use in Ghana's gold sector.
