I am a generation with unflinching desires and unrelenting dreams,
From a place where none of such dreams were birthed nor nurtured.
So I make no excuse nor expect any apology along the daunting path.
I don’t seek validations nor psychopaths; I have lived through unwaived tribulations, and the scars of delay you see are tributes to myself.
Sorry, I am not an appendage of my past.
I feel no sorry for the mud I bathed in to reach this dry land.
My homage is to the spirits planted before my feet.
They are the best to ever lift me from the family threat.
I am not a believer in the immortality of men. One day, we shall bow out from the throne,
but before then, let it not be a jubilation of the unthinkable fate we charted,
but a tribute to those life offered us to help.
Fellow victims of this unpleasantness,
I feel no sorry for you and I;
we are all victims of nothing.
