Hmm 🤔,how time flies.July 6,2026 would be 12 years since the disappearance of one of Ghana’s 🇬🇭 music legend Castro the destroyer,whose native name is Theophilus Tagoe,and Miss Janet Bandu.

On 6 July 2014, Castro, who was vacationing with Gyan and a few other friends, disappeared during a jet ski ride with a woman named Miss Janet Bandu.

While the jet ski was recovered, its occupants weren’t. He was said to be an expert swimmer who had rescued a person on at least one occasion.

Seven years after the incident, the artist was pronounced officially dead in line with Ghana’s Evidence Act.

May their souls RIP 🪦.

Earlier yesterday , March 3, 2026, reports went viral claiming that renowned Kumawood actor Paa George had passed away, throwing fans into a state of shock and confusion.

However, Kumasi-based social media influencer Nana Baffour has dismissed the claims as entirely false. According to him, he personally reached out to the veteran actor via phone and confirmed that Paa George is alive and in good health.

POLICE ENGAGE MANAGEMENT OF TWO SCHOOLS OVER STUDENT VIOLENCE

The Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department, COP Lydia Yaako Donkor, has engaged the management of Swedru School of Business and Obrachire Senior High Technical School following the recent violent incident involving students from both institutions.

The meeting was convened in response to concerns arising from the incident, which has attracted public attention. COP Donkor emphasized the need for calm and cooperation as the Police work to address the matter comprehensively.

During the engagement, management of Swedru School of Business was given 24 hours to produce the students involved in the incident to assist the investigation. She stressed that compliance with the directive would facilitate the swift and thorough handling of the case.

She also underscored the seriousness of the violence and its potential consequences for the students involved, indicating that investigations have formally commenced to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and to identify all persons connected to it. She also noted that the victim of the incident is currently responding to treatment.

COP Donkor reaffirmed the Ghana Police Service’s commitment to ensuring accountability, maintaining law and order, and promoting safety within educational institutions.
