Straight from Athens to Tbilisi – Ana, one of our Georgian participants, took the Timeless Games spirit into action at Georgia Insurance Group! 🇬🇷🇬🇪

Speaking to a group of young professionals who double as university students, Ana shared her Erasmus+ journey and showed how traditional games can do more than entertain - they can build trust, promote teamwork, and spark cultural understanding 🌍

What went down?

Erasmus+ in Action: Inspiring the Next Generation! ✨

We are thrilled to share that Nini Kapanadze and Ia Okromelidze, Georgian participants from the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Timeless Games" in Athens, Greece, organized an interactive and informative follow-up session at Public School No. 220 in Tbilisi! 🇬🇪📚

Nini and Ia introduced high school students and teachers to Erasmus+ opportunities, sharing her peronal experience and the many benefits of participating in international youth exchanges. 💡🌍 The students were highly engaged asking questions, exploring ways to apply, and showing a strong interest in joining similar projects in the future. Even the teachers expressed enthusiasm about potential Erasmus+ opportunities for educators! 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

This session was an important step in spreading awareness about mobility programs and inspiring more young people to explore the world through Erasmus+. 🌏✨

🌍🎲 Erasmus+ Youth Exchangee: Timeless Games 🎭⚽

Traditional games and sports are more than just entertainment- they are a window into different cultures, connecting us beyond language and borders! Through the Timeless Games project, young people explored how traditional games foster cultural inclusion, cross-cultural understanding, and personal growth.

By playing and sharing games from their own heritage, participants not only celebrated diversity but also discovered the power of physical activity in building social skills, leadership, and teamwork. These games serve as a universal language, breaking barriers and creating a shared space for all, regardless of background!

This unforgettable experience was hosted by Civitas Athletica (Greece) and made possible with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme (Greek National Agency) 🇪🇺

🌍 Timeless Games: A Journey of Inclusion Through Play!

We are happy to share the successful completion of "Timeless Games," an international Erasmus+ youth exchange that brought together young people from Georgia, Greece, Turkey, and North Macedonia to foster social inclusion through traditional games and sports. Hosted by Civitas Athletica (Greece) and funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (Greek National Agency), this project proved that games are more than just play - they are a universal language that connects cultures, promotes diversity, and builds stronger communities.

🔹 Why Traditional Games?
In a world where migration and cultural diversity are shaping our societies, social inclusion is more important than ever. Traditional games, deeply rooted in various cultures, transcend language barriers, encourage teamwork, and celebrate diversity. By exploring and playing each other's games, participants gained insights into different cultures and learned to appreciate diversity in a fun and interactive way.

🔹Project activities also included engaging workshops on social inclusion, diversity, and well-being, collage-making & storytelling about traditional games, brainstorming sessions on sports, mental health, and active citizenship, outdoor activities with locals to promote inclusion through play, recording traditional games for a project video and many more interactive, fun and educational activities.

🔹 Through these activities, participants not only celebrated cultural heritage but also gained a deeper understanding of inclusion, teamwork, and the power of play in uniting people across various backgrounds.

A huge thank you to Civitas Athletica, all partner organizations, and the inspiring young participants who made this exchange a success! 🌍💚

📢 Call for Applications: ESC Opportunity at BioArt Village, Netherlands!

Are you ready for an unforgettable experience combining sustainability, art, and nature? 🌱 Join the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) at BioArt Village in Eindhoven, Netherlands, and become part of a unique project promoting innovation and environmental responsibility.

About the Project
BioArt Village is an inspiring off-grid location where you'll:

🔵Live close to nature and explore a sustainable, resourceful way of life.
🔵Engage in activities such as animal care (cows, chickens, ponies, etc.), permaculture, and maintaining forest areas.
🔵Work on creative restoration projects, including painting, woodworking, and plastering, as part of transforming a WWII bunker into a cultural hub.

What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for motivated, open-minded, and proactive volunteers aged 18-30 years who:

🔵Love practical work in nature and want to make a positive impact.
🔵Are willing to step out of their comfort zone and embrace challenges.
🔵Respect diversity, rules, and practices of the hosting organization.
🔵Have satisfactory knowledge of English to communicate effectively.
🔵 Do not have allergies or issues with animals.
