β¨π A Little Moment of Gratitude πβ¨
Today I received an email that left me feeling incredibly humbled and grateful.
I have been invited to serve as a judge for the University of Wolverhampton Alumni Rising Star Awards. π
For anyone who knows my story, youβll know there was a time when I never imagined Iβd even make it to university, let alone be asked to help recognise and celebrate the achievements of others.
From navigating homelessness as a young teenager with no family , to raising a beautiful daughter ( who Iβm beyond proud of , to studying Psychology, volunteering, advocating for neurodivergent students, and now preparing for my MSc journey ,every step has taught me that our past does not define our future.
This opportunity feels like a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness, service, and perseverance can create ripples we donβt always see.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, believed in me, or simply cheered me on along the way. This recognition belongs to all of you too. π€
