Ever wondered why round about this time of year in particular you start seeing posts about an event called Ride To The Wall. Perhaps this will explain.

Ride To The Wall was started by a Veteran who wanted to pay respect and acknowledge the sacrifice of those who could no longer ride with us.

The "Ride" takes place every year on the first Saturday in October and attendees arrive by whatever means they can - 2, 3, 4 wheels, train plane ferry and foot. Travelling from all over the UK and Ireland, Europe and further afield to pay Respect and to show the families of the Fallen their loved ones and their sacrifice will always be appreciated and never forgotten.

Everyone who shares our appreciation for those who Served and made the ultimate sacrifice, and their families is welcome to join us at the National Memorial Arboretum Alrewas.

Everyone involved with RTTW does so voluntarily and not one penny piece is paid to anyone for their participation.

This is the most emotionally charged, poignant, evocative event you are likely to experience. There will be laughter, tears, noise and total silence but most of all there is Love and Respect. Please join us if you can. If not this year then perhaps in the future. Please help us to ensure their memory is perpetuated. Lest We Forget.
