Here's a preview of Fear of Falling 1983-84's latest single which is due for release on the 5th December. This song was originally written and recorded by the band in their 8-track basement studio in central Slough in 1984. I was their guitarist at that time, and I played the electric guitar on this track, as you will hear. So after having recovered the audio track from an archived reel-to-reel master tape in 2023, I have most recently been able to remix and remaster the song at Butterfly Island's studio. It's really nice to be able to listen to 'Young Man's Daydream' again, as it was intended, and after all this time.

Guitar Lessons Update (February 2022) - from this week (21/02) onwards, I'm increasingly moving back to 'in person' Guitar lessons as COVID restrictions ease. Therefore, do feel free to contact me if you'd like to attend. Out of respect for other students and following Govt guidance, I will ask that face masks are still worn during lessons for a while longer, probably until the weather warms up and we can open the studio windows and improve air circulation. Also, please only attend if you are feeling well, and have no cold, flu or Covid symptoms. Look forward to hearing from you..

Guitar Lessons (Update Sept 21) – I have been giving online Guitar lessons only since the start of the Covid pandemic. However, I should begin to return to in-person lessons from 20th September onward. I intend to teach again in-person (one to one) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturday (mornings). Students will be able to attend either weekly or fortnightly with their own guitar. A prospective student can either be a beginner or someone who already has some playing experience. Pre-Covid pandemic students may also continue as before subject to my availability. However, all students moving forward and for the time being will be required to wear a suitable face mask and attend with evidence of a negative Covid Lateral Flow Test taken prior to the start of each lesson. Sorry, no exceptions. Hand Gel will also be made available for use during the lesson. Regarding lesson materials – unless the student is working from their own Grade books, I will no longer provide pre-printed lesson material. Instead I will send out PDF Music sheets in advance of each lesson via E-mail or WhatsApp for the student to either print out or refer to using their own Tablet PC, Kindle Fire or iPad during the lesson. People keep telling me they will get back to their lessons when "things get back to normal". Well folks, for the foreseeable future, this IS the new normal. OK, it's not what we intended perhaps, but it's what we have, for now. So I do look forward to teaching at least some of you once again 'in person' soon.
