Hey everyone, Sophie (Craft with Sophie) here from the Design Team and this week I've made a beach themed birthday card.

I started by ink blending the background using the 'Best Fishes' stencil and a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks. I then added splatters of gold paint for texture and a touch of shimmer. I then created a mini scene using the 'Beach Buds' stamp set and paper from the 'Brighter Days' 6x6 pad.

To help the mini scene stand out I cut a rectangular panel of velum and adhered it to the centre of my stencilled background. This helps to diffuse the pattern underneath and draw focus towards the main decorated panel. I then added a sentiment and plenty of glitter glue for sparkle!

Hey everyone, Sophie (Craft with Sophie) here from the Design Team.

This week I've made a cinema themed card using the 'Five Windows Cover Die'. For the background I used the 'Popcorn' stencil to tie in with the cinema scene. I then stamped and coloured in a variety of images from the 'Movie Night' stamp set and adhered them to create a cinema scene in the larger window and movie accessories in the bottom panels.

To finish the card I added a sentiment and some die cut gold stars that tie in with the sentiment.

I started by stencilling the background using the 'Beach Scene Builder' stencil to create an island, palm tree and the sea. I then added images from the 'Boat Buddies' set along with a sentiment. To finish I added some glitter highlights to the sail and rubber ring for some sparkle.
