We used a parachute to help us pray at St Mary’s this afternoon as we explored God’s call for the church to be an adventure community!
Welcome to Worship4All, a vibrant inter-generational time of worship, teaching and prayer in the in the livestreamed from St. Lawrence’s, Tinsley. Today we continue our series ‘Church is….’ exploring some of the characteristics of a health church community. Today we will be thinking about the church as an adventurous place.

The Rivers Team was well represented at the Diocese of Sheffield Development Day at St Thomas, Crookes today. It was great to gather together with sisters and brothers in Christ from across the diocese for prayer, worship, bible study and inspiration from Leading your Church into Growth.

Thank you to everyone who came along and contributed to the launch of the new monthly service at St Helen’s in Treeton this afternoon, especially the members of the Treeton School Choir who did a fantastic job leading the singing.
The next service will be our Harvest Celebration on Sunday 25th October at 3:30pm - we hope to see you there!

Kate Stark was licensed as one of the first Funeral Ministers at the Diocese of Sheffield’s celebration of Lay Ministries service today. We give thanks for Kate and her gifts, but also the calling of every member of our church family to shine brightly, sharing God’s love through their gifts and abilities in our church.

Ladies from across the Rivers Team gathered last night for an enjoyable evening of good food, good drinks and, most importantly, good fellowship at our Mocktails and Cocktails evening.
Thanks to everyone who made it such a success, including our crack team of mixologists!
