We're excited to share our next craft collective session with you! We've got four wonderful artists running craft activities, which you are welcome to drop-in and enjoy throughout the day.

We’re giving you first look at the artists:

🪾 Charlie Hill weaving with sticks and natural fibres

Maltby Get Together ✨

Last week we attended Maltby Get Together! We had a wonderful day, there were roughly 250 people over the whole event with over 60 kids and adults working with our artist Karen on some amazing funky key rings!

Mark Mark productions entertained crowd with their hillarious stage show.

Next to the Flux gazebo were the University of Sheffield Confucius Society. They were showing off their amazing calligraphy skills with panda drawing, sharing some Chinese characters and their meanings plus ace give always of fortune cookies and fluffy panda badges.

We had a great day. Thank you to everyone who was a part of the event.

Last weekend we enjoyed a variety of creative activities in Canklow Woods! 🌿

Thank you to Charlie for leading the session and exploring with everyone who joined us.

We'll be running more sessions like this in the future as part of our Green & Creative project. Keep your eyes peeled!

This Saturday both Rotherham Minster and The Chapel on the Bridge will be open!

The Friends of Rotherham Chapel on the Bridge will be at the Chapel for their monthly open day. Serving tours, facts and biscuits from 10:30am til 1:30pm (last entry 1:15pm)

Rotherham Minster will be open to visitors from 10:00am til 1:00pm. Pick up a guidebook near the entrance to take a self-guided tour around the building.

Happy National Volunteers' Week! 💛

This week is a celebration of all the incredible volunteers across the country. We're say celebrating anyone who has helped make Flux events, workshops and festivals better!

Today is also BBC Make a Difference Day, and throughout the day BBC Radio Sheffield will be sharing inspiring stories of people making a positive impact in their communities. We're proud to know so many volunteers who do exactly that here in Rotherham. Head to BBC Sheffield to listen!
