Check out our newest artwork in the Welcome Gallery. This embroidered, applique panel was inspired by the artist's second great grandmother Francine who had been bought out of slavery by act of manumission.

A date for the diary....
Over the years the trail has proved very popular due to the quality and range of work on show, but also because everyone opens at the same hours, 11am to 6pm. There is no need to juggle your plans in order to accommodate different opening hours/times.
Mark the 8th and 9th June on your calendars. We look forward to seeing you.

If I had a hammer......
Painting to Hammer a Nail, 1966
‘Unfinished Paintings and Objects’, Indica Gallery, London, Nov 9–22, 1966
Yoko: When Painting to Hammer a Nail was exhibited at the Indica Gallery, a person came and asked if it was all right to hammer a nail in the painting. I said it was all right if he paid five shillings. Instead of paying the five shillings, he asked if it was all right for him to hammer an imaginary nail in. That was John Lennon. So I met a guy who plays the same game I played.
