💙 Together We Make a Difference! 2025/26 PTFA Review & Looking Ahead 💙
​We want to say a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible Springfield Primary School community! Thanks to your generosity, enthusiasm, and time, our PTFA raised an absolutely amazing £10,032.03 over the 2025/26 school year! 🎉👏
​Because of your support at events like the Christmas Fete, Easter Colour Run, and Springfest, we were able to fully fund:
​📚 £900.00 for brand new library books
​🚌 £3,000.00 toward school trip transport
​🎨 £1,645.00 for Arts Week
​💨 Classroom fans, Year 6 leavers events, and more!
​⚠️ Why Your Support Matters Now More Than Ever
​As we look ahead to the 2026/2027 school year, the reality is that school budgets across the board are being significantly stripped back. The funding we receive centrally simply doesn't cover the vital extras that enrich our children's day-to-day school life.
​Because of these tight budget constraints, our community fundraising events and initiatives mean more now than they ever have before. Without your support, the extra trips, creative weeks, and new resources simply won't be possible.
​🤝 Double Your Impact: Can You Help Us Match Fund?
​We are looking for ways to maximize every single penny this coming year. Did you know you might be able to double your impact without it costing you an extra dime?
​Many companies offer a Match Funding policy where they will match the money raised by an employee at a charity event or via a monthly donation.
​What to do: Please check with your employer (especially if you work for a bank, building society, supermarket, or large corporation—though many independent companies do it too!) to see if they have a match funding scheme.

🐻 Spa Day for the Cuddly Crew! 🧼✨
​The PTFA has been incredibly busy behind the scenes this week getting ready for Springfest next week!
​As you can see, our "Adopt a Teddy" residents have been undergoing some serious VIP treatment. They’ve been washed, beautifully line-dried in the sunshine, and are currently queueing up to find their brand-new homes. There is a cuddly friend waiting for everyone!
​Come along to Springfest Saturday July 4th 12.30-3.30pm to choose your favourite, and adopt them into a loving family. 🏡❤️

As the weather is set to be warm and sunny, we will be doing an ice lolly sale during the sports day picnic tomorrow

If any children are looking to try out a new sport for the summer, The Junior Padel Academy at The Atrium Health Club are offering a FREE taster session for all children aged 5–12!

Only a few more weeks until our annual Springfest.....more information will be sent out in the children's book bags.
