Today I popped into one of Holiday Company’s beautiful properties to collect a travel cot from a recent guest and catch up with Stephanie ahead of another family’s arrival in a few weeks.

This particular booking requires two wooden cots to be delivered, assembled and set up before the guests arrive, and being able to visit the property beforehand means we can plan everything properly. We know exactly where the cots are going, what access is like, and can ensure everything is ready for a seamless arrival.

It sounds simple, but it’s something that’s often overlooked.

One of the things I love about working with holiday home agencies like is that we work together to take the hassle out of travelling with little ones. No last-minute surprises, no trying to work out where furniture will fit, no guests arriving to a pile of equipment needing assembly.

Just a home-from-home setup, ready and waiting for their arrival.

One of the very first venues we ever hosted at with Bumps, Babies & Brunch, and now we’re so excited to be bringing our very first Tots Take Over there too.

If you’ve ever visited, you’ll already know why we’re obsessed. The food is incredible, the staff are amazing, the setting is beautiful, and the atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and effortlessly cool.

What makes The Cowshed extra special is that we take over the entire barn, but it still feels intimate enough to create those genuine connections with other mums whilst enjoying a truly gorgeous morning together.

And let’s talk about the food… 😍

Unlike some of our larger events, guests can choose from selected options on The Cowshed’s main menu, freshly prepared on the day.

☕ Mums enjoy a barista-style coffee, hot drink, iced drink or freshly pressed juice, plus a delicious brunch from the menu.

🍓 Tots will enjoy a selection of fruit, yoghurt, pastries and toast.
