Aaron & Anthony kicked off their season this afternoon in Aberdeen on Cain’s boxing show held at the Sandman Signature Hotel .

Aaron was up first against Cain’s Findlay Milne in the light-heavyweight division.

Aaron looked to be boxing comfortably on the front foot from the first to last controlling the contest. With Findlay landing the occasional eye catching shot on the back foot .But it was a surprising split decision loss for Aaron though as it went to the home fighter .
Well done Findlay . A good performance from Aaron and great experience. We move on .

Anthony was next up against Cain’s Jamie Binnie at Welterweight.

A good match up and entertaining contest Anthony was just beaten by the sharper punches and more positive performance from young Jamie.
A unanimous decision for Cain .

ENTRIES for the first National Championships of the 2026/27 Boxing Scotland season are now open.

The Boxing Scotland Development A Championships will be held across the weekend's of 24th/25th October and 31st October/1st November 2026 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell.

The novice level competition is open for the following Development A categories;

Male Boxers - 0-3 Bouts

Female Boxers - 0-6 Bouts

Boxers must not have exceeded the number of contests in their chosen category when presenting for the Championships. Prior combat experience is also included within this, in addition to prior contests under Boxing Scotland.

Entries for the competition will close at Noon on Thursday 1st October 2026. There will be no extensions to this deadline.

Hunter Alexander was in action tonight up in Dundee at the Lochee Home Show

Hunter was up against Diarmud Christie (Lochee BC) 40kg school boys.

A competitive match but Hunter boxed to instruction and secured a unanimous victory.
