PKAVS Young Carers need your support!

This September, 16 of our wonderful young carers will travel across Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England in order to meet other young carers from around the UK. This trip will give them the opportunity to build friendships, gain confidence and create lasting memories with others who understand their journey.

Any contribution is appreciated - this will help cover transport, accommodation and activity costs for the young people taking part.

On Thursday 14th May, PKAVS Carers Centre visited the Carers Scotland Roadshow, hosted by Mindspace, we were joined by other third sector organisations operating in Perth and Kinross to provide a range of practical information, advice and support to unpaid carers.

We'd like to thank the volunteering group from Aviva's Property Training Team in Perth! This group got involved at PKAVS Carers Centre weeding the garden, removing moss from the patio and painting the reception area!
