Smart submetering by Quensus drastically reduces water bills and gives you peace of mind against water damages all year round.

Smart water management by Quensus drastically reduces water bills by sending notifications with insight into wasted water, and allows remotely shutting off the water supply to prevent water waste and water damage. It's a 24/7 water audit which continuously answers the question: how much are you spending on leaks? With a fully managed service and payback period from just 2 months, there's everything to gain and nothing to lose (apart from those pesky leaks).

The leaks that cost the most are the ones nobody sees coming.

A slow drip behind a wall. A valve is failing overnight. A pipe quietly losing pressure across an entire floor. Hidden leaks don't announce themselves, and in a property portfolio, the longer they go undetected, the bigger the bill.

LeakNet gives property owners, developers and facilities managers complete visibility across every site, monitoring water usage around the clock and shutting off automatically the moment something looks wrong.

One system. Every building. No surprises.

Behind every leak prevented, there's a team obsessed with making it happen.

At Quensus, we bring together engineers, data scientists, and water management specialists who genuinely care about solving one of the most overlooked problems in the built environment industry.

From the AI algorithms running inside LeakNet to the support we provide after every installation, everything is driven by the people behind the product.

We're proud of the team we've built. Diverse, passionate, and united by a shared belief that water damage should be entirely preventable.

Chasing BREEAM credits on your next development?

Your leak detection system could be doing more of the heavy lifting.

BREEAM WAT03 requires a permanently installed, automated system capable of detecting abnormal water flow and alerting building operators in real time. LeakNet meets every relevant compliance note and goes well beyond the minimum requirement.

Here is what Quensus supports across the BREEAM water categories:
πŸ’§ WAT03 Water Leak Detection: 2 credits via mains monitoring, intelligent flow analysis and automatic shutoff
πŸ’§ WAT02 Water Monitoring: 1 credit via FlowReporter or BMS integration
πŸ’§ WAT07 Leak Detection System: 2 credits for In-Use buildings
πŸ’§ WAT08 Leak Prevention: 2 credits through automated isolation of sanitary areas
πŸ’§ WAT01 Water Monitoring: up to 3 credits via advanced data capture and anomaly detection

Unlike fixed-threshold systems, LeakNet adapts to each building's actual usage profile, improving detection accuracy, reducing false alarms, and giving assessors exactly the evidence they need.

Meet the mind behind LeakNet.

Dr Daniel Simmons founded Quensus with a simple but powerful idea: that the technology to prevent water damage already existed, it just needed to be built into something practical, intelligent, and accessible.

With a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham and over a decade of experience in AI and smart-sensor research, Dan developed the dynamic-threshold algorithms that sit at the heart of everything LeakNet does.

He founded Quensus to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world water risk. Since then, the technology has protected stadiums, airports, high-rise developments, construction sites and everything in between.

In 2025, Dan was invited to speak at Insurtech Insights Europe and was recognised as a Green Champion by EcoProd for his commitment to sustainability.

The problem of water damage is not new. The solution now is.

We've seen some unusual interior design choices. This isn't one we would recommend.

Water damage doesn't give you a warning. One undetected leak can silently work its way through a building, and by the time it's visible, the repair bill is already mounting.

LeakNet monitors your entire water system around the clock, automatically shutting off the supply the moment something goes wrong and alerting you instantly, before a small problem becomes a very expensive one.

Don't redecorate. Prevent it.

Imagine coming in on a Monday morning to this...

A flooded classroom doesn't just mean damaged furniture and ruined equipment. It means displaced students, closed facilities, emergency repairs, and a bill that nobody budgeted for.

Schools are particularly vulnerable to overnight and weekend leaks when buildings sit empty and nobody is there to notice. By the time someone walks through the door, the damage is already done.

LeakNet monitors water usage around the clock, detecting abnormal flow the moment it starts and shutting off the supply automatically, whether the building is full or empty.

Because no school should start the week like this.

This is what an undetected leak looks like when nobody was there to stop it.

A burst pipe on the floor above. No monitoring in place. No automatic shutoff. By the time anyone noticed, the ceiling had already given way.

In high-rise residential buildings, escape of water is one of the most frequent and costly insurance claims. The damage rarely stops at one floor. Water travels through walls, ceilings, and electrical systems, displacing residents and racking up repair bills that can easily run into six figures.

LeakNet monitors every zone of a building around the clock. The moment abnormal flow is detected, the valve closes automatically, and the relevant people are alerted instantly, whether the building is occupied or completely empty.

The best time to install leak detection is before something like this happens.

At 8 Harbord Square, Canary Wharf, we’ve deployed splash sensors across every apartment, delivering real-time leak detection at the point of risk.

In developments like this, leaks aren’t minor issues. They escalate quickly into disruption, damage, and cost.

This is where most buildings fail. Detection comes too late.

By installing intelligent sensors throughout each unit, risk is identified instantly, not after damage has already occurred.

No guesswork. No delay. No reactive firefighting.

Just controlled, measurable protection across the entire building.

This is what modern water management looks like.

A running tap is easy to spot.

But a leaking pipe behind your wall? A faulty valve slowly draining overnight? A broken cistern that's been running for weeks?

That's the water nobody sees and in most buildings, it's costing far more than you could imagine...

LeakNet monitors your entire water system around the clock, catching the invisible leaks before they become expensive ones.

Because the real problem was never the tap you left running.
