⚡ NEW PRODUCT – Distribution Desktop Training Rig

We’re excited to introduce the latest addition to our range of electrical training equipment — the Distribution Desktop Training Rig.

Designed specifically for Level 2 and Level 3 electrical learners, this compact and lightweight rig provides a practical way to develop essential skills in:

🔧 Testing & Inspection
🔍 Fault Finding & Diagnosis
⚡ Insulation Resistance Testing
🔌 Understanding a Single Electrical Circuit

The rig features 6 individually switchable faults, allowing tutors to create realistic fault-finding scenarios and give learners valuable hands-on experience in diagnosing electrical faults.

One of the key focuses of this rig is Insulation Resistance testing, helping learners understand that testing goes beyond simply checking continuity and gives them a better understanding of the importance of insulation resistance within an electrical installation.

The complete unit is mounted within a lightweight, robust frame, making it easy to manoeuvre, transport and use directly on a desktop — ideal for training environments where space and flexibility are important.

💡 Power options:
The rigs can be supplied with or without a supply lead, depending on your training requirements. The powered version allows learners to carry out testing and fault diagnosis on a live circuit under appropriate supervision and procedures.

A practical, flexible and accessible way to bring real-world electrical testing and fault diagnosis into the classroom.

At Test Rigs UK Ltd, our service plans aren’t just for rigs built by us. If you have a test rig from another manufacturer that needs servicing, maintenance or support, we can help!
We recently worked with a client who had rigs manufactured by another company. They approached us to service their equipment, and we were also able to provide a practical solution by mounting the rigs onto our Test Rigs UK trollies.
💡 Our trollies are designed with practicality in mind, with dimensions suitable for manoeuvring through most common doorways and practical lift sizes — making it easier to move rigs between rooms and floors.
