Applications are now open for the The F-List for Music Youth Industry Network, a 12-month music career development programme, delivered in partnership with Youth Music and supported by the People's Postcode Lottery.

The programme supports young women and gender-diverse creatives aged 16–25 (or up to 30 if disabled) based in or around the Tees Valley who are looking to build sustainable careers in music.

Participants receive:
• £300 funding for career support
• Monthly in-person mentoring from industry professionals
• Expert online training sessions and workshops
• Strategic goal-planning and career development sessions
• A peer network of local artists

A free songwriting workshop for ages 12-18! ✍🎶

BBC Young Composer workshop

This workshop will offer accessible music-making with the morning focusing on songwriting – exploring melodies, lyrics, chord sequences and grooves. The afternoon will introduce orchestral thinking by exploring how songwriting ideas can be developed and transformed with instrumentation.
