When we said we were making a conscious effort to get out to more industry events this year, we meant it! ✨
This week, our Head of Technology, Nathaniel, headed to the opening day of TechNExt Festival in Newcastle, a festival celebrating the North East's thriving tech sector.
The launch event explored everything from AI and immersive technology to talent, entrepreneurship and the future of innovation, sparking plenty of conversations about the opportunities and challenges shaping the industry.
While not every event we attend sits directly within the world of marketing, we firmly believe that staying curious, hearing different perspectives and keeping an eye on emerging technologies can only make us better at what we do 🔥
A big thank you to the TechNExt team for a fantastic start to the festival week!

Still buzzing after Natalia, our Head of Commercial, and Janine, our Marketing Manager, attended Moja's first-ever Get Known Summit in Newcastle ✨
Every speaker brought something different to the table! It wasn't one of those events where you leave with a handful of vague ideas and a tote bag. We came away with genuine insights, fresh perspectives and plenty to think about.
Massive credit to the MOJA team for pulling off a sold-out debut event. They've already launched tickets for next year's summit and, if this year's event was anything to go by, we'd wholeheartedly recommend getting your name down early.

Our Creative Content Lead, Carli, recently headed to Edinburgh for this year's Televisionaries event with Thinkbox ✨
The event brought together some of the top people from across the TV and advertising industry, offering plenty of fresh perspectives and valuable insights into how brands are making channels work harder together.
We're making a conscious effort to get out to more industry events this year, and with the ITV Showcase coming up next week, we're excited to keep learning, keep listening and keep bringing new thinking back to the brands we work with.
A big thank you to Thinkbox for a fantastic event!

If AI can’t find your content, it won’t recommend it. 🤖
Yes, traditional SEO still matters, but rankings alone are no longer the full picture. As AI-generated answers become more integrated into daily search experiences, visibility now means being understood, trusted, and selected as part of the response.
One of the biggest misconceptions right now is that Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is replacing traditional SEO, but in reality, increased search visibility depends on them working together. Because if your content isn’t optimised for how AI interprets information, you could be missing out on opportunities to stay visible.
In our latest blog, we explore what SEO and GEO mean for the future of search, how they work together, and what businesses can do to prepare for the next evolution of online visibility.
