B&M is back in Middlesbrough town centre
Last Friday was the opening of the new B&M in the Hillstreet Shopping centre in Middlesbrough.
It's great to see another big brand back in the town centre , we also saw the opening of Boots on Wednesday.
I think it's really important we seen two major retailers back in the town centre hopefully we see more coming in the next few years.
I have also heard rumours that the M&S food hall could be returning to the Hillstreet Shopping centre, I have also being informed JD sport is moving from the Cleveland centre to the Hillstreet shopping centre.

My latest venture The Dating Club Teesside was featured on We are Middlesbrough last weekend💘💘
Please give my new venture a follow I would appreciate the support Xx
Meet Middlesbrough’s matchmaker 💘
Ahead of Valentine’s Day, Acklam-based, Chloe Tempestoso is playing cupid by taking dating offline with a series of speed dating events with a difference.
30-year-old Chloe created The Dating Club Teesside last September after becoming frustrated with dating apps and spotting similar events in Manchester and Newcastle.
The club offers diverse dating events for all ages and those who are from the LGBT+ community, providing a safe and relaxed space to meet face to face. There are often 60 singles at each event, where every attendee can enjoy 12 six-minute dates.
Chloe is proud to create something different in the town and hopes the events will continue to grow: “I set up the events in Middlesbrough, as I’m proud it’s my hometown.
“Sometimes there is a misconception that there’s nothing to do here, that you must travel elsewhere, but my events have shown there is a demand for speeding dating on our doorstep.
“I’m hoping the events continue to grow and I can host bigger sessions in the town.”
If you’re ready to meet someone new, the next Dating Club Teesside event takes place at The Nuthatch on Wednesday 4 February – book tickets 👇

RIP to a true Middlesbrough legend ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻X
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Chris, who died peacefully earlier today following a short illness.
Chris’s music has created the soundtrack to many lives, and his legacy will live on through the songs he leaves behind.

Enjoyed a full English today at one of favorite places in Boro for food Baker Street Kitchen.
Finished the last of my Christmas shopping today in Middlesborough. First time I'd properly being shopping in town for a while.
Honestly didn't think the town was to bad despite many shops closing there's still plenty of shops and choice to do some shopping . With B&M and boots returning early 2026 adds more national retailers to the town is positive news.
Make sure to shop local and support business in the town centre. More people who shop in the town see improvement to the town centre.
