❤️Grove update…..
Children have chosen to spend lots of time outside. They have played in the construction areas digging and moving stones to create roads 🪏 🚧 They’ve also been bouncing around on the mini trampoline, taking turns and ensuring everyone had a go.
Inside we have been completing lots of painting and junk modelling 🎨🫟🖌️Creations spanned from cars/boats to different types of musical instruments 🥁 🪇
This week we look forward to the last week of term. Where we will take part in a bee hunt and bee crafts for World Bee Day 🐝, also creating some turtle paintings for World Turtle Day 🐢

If your child does not attend on a Thursday, please feel free to pop up with your child between 10.30am-11.30 to have their photo taken.

More Grove butterfly pictures 🐛🦋

Grove news…..
We hope everyone had a lovely Bank Holiday. Another week of beautiful weather has let us spend lots of time outside 🌞We have once again been on the field, playing football ⚽️ and practicing gymnastics on the climbing frame.🛝We collected some flowers on one of our field visits and turned them into a lovely pressed flower picture 🌺🌼There was lots of working together and helping each other when it was a bit tricky- which was lovely to see. In butterfly news- Friday our first butterfly had emerged followed shortly by the remaining 4. Hannah took them home over the weekend to ensure they were looked after until the children return from school this week and hopefully release them 🐛🦋
Next week we look forward to some VE Day activities including creating some spitfires, baking and hopefully some races on the field. As ever any comments or suggestions. ❤️

We have some special visitors this afternoon…….🥰

In Grove news…..
We have enjoyed watching our caterpillars grow at an amazing speed and we are now awaiting our final 2 caterpillars to pupate. We are excited to countdown the days until they emerge as butterflies. 🦋 🐛
As the sun has been shining all week, we have spent lots of time outside. We have planted cress (which should be already growing), played football and built some creations in the sandpit. 🌞
On Thursday the children created some amazing dragon masks, which led to some wonderful imaginative play!
Due to the lovely weather we didn’t bake this week, so this will move to next week alongside making our own pressed flowers pictures, butterfly printing and making space pictures for Space Day! 🌸🚀
