So I've tried to provide some solutions, including a NEW 30 MINUTE RESISTANCE BAND CLASS you can do live on Zoom from the comfort of your home, or follow the video at a time and place to suit you.

The health benefits of resistance training are now proven to be varied and many. It's never too late to start, with resistance bands, weights, or body weight (callisthenics). Here's some tips:
How much should I do?
Ideally, 3 sessions a week. These don't need to be long sessions - 15 or 30 minutes is sufficient - but what it is important is that you put all the muscles of your body UNDER RESISTANCE regularly, to keep them healthy and functioning and stop them deteriorating as you age.

Outdoor fitness classes at South West Manchester CC Ellesmere Road, Chorlton, run by local Personal Trainer Sarah Spearing
All abilities, genders and ages (+14) are welcome at these Pay As You Go classes. On Wednesdays, we welcome carers of small children to workout as the kids watch or play on the field. Sarah is also a Post Natal exercise specialist who can offer advice and guidance where needed
Monday - a total body conditioning class called BodySculpt
Wednesday - a mixed Circuit class consisting of stations of weights, cardio and resistance bands. Babies and toddlers come along with their mum, dad, or carer too!
Friday - Resistance Bands - a strength class using resistance bands
9.30am - 10.25am, we workout in all weathers so dress appropriately. You just need a bottle of water and a mat if you have one.
£7 online booking or cash in class (just turn up, no booking required), or lots of great value pass offers available (£4.50 per class) via the booking site, link in the comments
