In 2023 he handed the reins over to regular DJs Mat & Malc and we changed our name to 'Control' ... Same music policy, same fantastic alt. Goth Punk Post-punk Alt. 80's Synthpop Industrial nightclub in Manchester City centre with DJs Mat and Malc.

Happy Friday 13th... We are excited to announce that horror punk legends, Zombina and the Skeletones will be joining The March Violets this summer. We managed to persuade them to 'take a break from taking a break' and join us for what promises to be a fantastic night of mayhem 🧟♀️💜🧟♀️💜🧟♀️

Right you lot, thank you so much for coming out in your droves last night. After sorting a few teething problems early doors, the night was a great success I think🙂
The venue are happy to have us back in the New Year, so we’ll get organising that. To address a few points people have raised … The bar will be both CARD and CASH for our events in the future. They are hoping to be able to open the upstairs bar for us too, which I presume is a ‘can only bar’, but saves everyone traipsing up and down the stairs.
I personally would like to see some better disco lighting, so I’ll be trying to find a way for that to happen. Finally they are also investigating a way to pipe the music downstairs so you can chill out, but still hear the nonsense we are playing upstairs.
