The Roth Guitar Duo formed through a shared love of chamber music in 2014, whilst studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and have been described as “…two of the UK’s brightest young stars of the guitar” Craig Ogden.

Had a gorgeous time playing for Classically Lowther at the Lowther Pavilion in Lytham St Annes yesterday!

Great venue and lovely audience. It was so nice to chat with so many of you afterwards.

Here is a snippet from the concert, Mallorca Op. 202 by Isaac Albeniz. Such a beautiful piece and always a joy to play.

We have had a great time over the past few weeks with our concerts to kick off 2026, we can’t believe it’s February already!

Had a gorgeous time playing for Toad Lane Concerts yesterday. Such a beautiful venue and great acoustic for guitar!

Our next concert is on Monday 2nd February for Classically Lowther at the Lowther Pavilion Theatre in Lytham St Annes.

Concert starts at 1.30pm and we’ll be playing works by Presti, Bloor, Granados, Albeniz, Castelnuovo-Tedesco and more!

We had a wonderful time playing our Bream Series concert on Sunday, alongside the brilliant Craig Ogden. Thanks so much to everyone who came along to support us!

Our next concert is on January 28th, 12:30pm for Toad Lane Concerts. Toad Lane Concerts take place in the beautiful St Mary in the Baum Church, Rochdale.

The Bream Series 10/01/2026

Happy New Year!

We’re really looking forward to some lovely concerts in 2026.

We’re kicking the year off next Sunday 18th of January at the Irish World Heritage Centre, alongside Craig Ogden, playing a selection of solos, duo and trios! This new series will bring some RNCM Guitar Alumni to the venue, so keep an eye out for future dates later in the year!

🎶 gorgeous venue for today’s concert in Llandstadwell

The sun was out and the sea was blue! The smell of sea air is such a treat.

Many thanks to everyone who came to watch us playing, it was lovely to talk to everyone afterwards and we really appreciate you giving up a little bit of sunshine (and some football ⚽️!!!!) to hear us playing.

We’ve had a super busy few months and have a little time off in August before we start up again with concerts in September, so we hope to see you then 🎶🎵🎼

🎶 had a brilliant time yesterday playing for Tameside Concert Society

🎶 we had the pleasure of giving the Premiere Concert performance of ‘Pastorale for Two Guitars’ by Helen Walker and it was lovely to have her in the audience to watch and give an introduction. Many thanks for the photos!

These concerts are FREE ENTRY, which is amazing! We have been playing for Tameside Concert Society for over 10 years now, as a duo and as soloists.

They have had an amazing season, with a great, appreciative audience.

Next week we’ll be playing works by Ida Presti, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Enrique Granados. We’ll have the pleasure of giving the Premiere Concert Performance of composition “Pastorale for Two Guitars” as well as performing a new arrangement of 3 movement work “Vanilla Rose”
