A freshly renovated limited capacity basement, bang in the middle of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Powered by Danley Sounds Lab, their weighty six speaker rig sets to match the acoustics of the wall to wall tiling, offering crystal clear frequencies and serious bass.

Keep your eyes pealed for our next party unveiling later this week, a line up set to shake every corner of our new space.

‘Spielplatz’ is a rolling track packed full of atmosphere, taken from the 3 track EP curated by O’Fella and Perk, produced under their newly founded co-alias T.I.E.R

The EP is released on O’fella’s own imprint on October 21, featuring 2 other moody floor filling tracks.

FWL 002 | Lonefront

For the second instalment of our live mix series we have American producer and selector, providing an hour from a party in Minneapolis, Minnesota - where he is currently based.

Lately, Lonefront has been working on developing alternative tuning systems and new approaches to programming sound. This mix contains fragments of these experiments, with deep driving bass and hypotonic rhythms effortlessly intertwined.

FWP 075 | SAWYL

London based DJ and Producer, SAWYL returns to the FWP Series, 18 months on from his first invite onto the show.

Now adopting a different style, SAWYL’s sound has evolved parallel to his most recent productions. Drawing inspiration from machine driven early 00’s techno, SAWYL fuses his selections with modern groove and rhythm with this mix including tracks from Lyric, Arthur Robert, Faster Horses, and a selection of self productions.

CON.R is a 22 year old Irish DJ hailing from Dublin. CON.R is one of the residents of the well regarded Dublin based techno collective, New Moon Sessions (NMS). Focusing on an impressive balance between sound and visual, NMS place huge emphasis on audio-visual experiences and unique techno based parties.

Mixing seamlessly with CDJ’s and Vinyl, you can expect a multitude of sounds from his sets. From harsh broken rhythms, intense hypnotic grooves to eery atmospheric textures, CON.R solidifies his sound with straight up 4x4 slammers and no nonsense techno.

Our debut at Stage & Radio could not have been any sweeter, the basement was pumping from start to finish with flat out groove. Huge thank you to all the heads who came down, and to all the artists on the roster who soundtracked this special night.

The next few weeks are stacked with FWP and FWL Series instalments, but first we’re off to Glasgow on March 26 with the OUTFLIGHT crew
