Looks like we have an award winner in our midst! 🎉 Huge congratulations to our founding director, Twiggy, on receiving his Veteran Recognition Award. A very well-deserved honour! 👏👏
And a big thank you to whoever nominated him - we had absolutely no idea and didn’t even know there was a ceremony! 😆

Wow, what a Friday night! ⚽️

Reports from our veterans suggest it was a weekend of sore muscles, but spirits were well and truly high!

None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity and support of Stones In The Community. The entire team helped us every step of the way (special thank you to Julie and Kerry), and what an event it turned out to be.

From organising the pitch and helping with the running of the day, scouring sponsors and raffle prizes, their efforts were invaluable and hugely appreciated. We can't thank them enough and truly value the partnership we have built together.

A special shout-out also goes to Lorraine, who helped spread the word about the event through her work with Maidstone United FC Raiders Disability Official.

This was a fantastic collaborative event, and we look forward to creating many more opportunities together in the future. 💙💛

Last nights Charity match at Gallagher’s stadium was gripping 8-8 at the whistle but sadly for us to lose in the penalty shoot out. We have some broken warriors this morning but they showed you never lose what you were taught in the military, work well as a team, never give up and fight for the man beside you. A huge thank you to our sponsor Bemco for make the team look smart and professional. Thank you to our opposition for a great match. And thank you to the Stones for hosting us and we hope to be back next year and of course thank you for all that came and supported including the Current mayor and other former Mayor’s . You don’t have to wait till next year though to support you local Veterans come and find us at our next event on 12th July Chilham Castle charity cricket match, look on our site for more information. Thank you all again for your support.
