St. Francis of Assisi showed a jubilant, radical love for all of God’s creation. On his feast day, the Season of Creation comes to a close.

This October 4, we will gather as one global family to give thanks, celebrate the beauty of all Creation, and share a message of hope with the world.

We will be joined by:
Analisa Ramsahai, Laudato Si’ Movement Board Director from Trinidad and Tobago, reflecting on “Water as Connection.”
Elizabeth Trice, from the Church of England and The Seedlings Network, sharing “Immersion, Transformation and Healing.”

Interpretation will be available in multiple languages.

May the spirit of Saint Francis continue to inspire us to live with simplicity, gratitude, and love for all Creation.

French Christians Brace for Future of 'Violent' Heat - Christianity Today 29/09/2026

Europe is heating up faster than any other continent. Will the Church step up to love our neighbours amidst new and dangerous heat?

Jean-François Mouhot, Director of A Rocha France offers this encouragemet: “The first Christians were noticed in the Roman Empire because they took care of the people who were sick. They took care of the poor; they took care of abandoned children…So, I think there’s room for Christians to again be the ones bearing some of the suffering of the world around us.”

“Living Water” is the theme of this year’s Season of Creation, a biblical vision of hope and ecological healing based on Ezekiel 47:9 & 12.

Set amid exile and loss, the image of living water flowing from God’s sanctuary reveals divine healing that renews land, water and biodiversity.

In order to receive new life, we too must step into the water and become part of God’s river of life, taking part in the healing of creation.

What would an engineer and an economist-by-training know of nature conservation, much less about helping found a Christian conservation non-profit organization in Singapore? When Phillip Wang began exploring creation care theology, his entire perspective shifted:

“The Gospel feels bigger now. Creation doesn’t exist just for us. It exists for God’s pleasure. So the question becomes: What does it mean for us to care for what brings Him delight?”

This month on the A Rocha blog, meet Phillip Wang and his wife Gail Lien, two of the founders of A Rocha Singapore. Read about their exciting journey and the early projects of A Rocha Singapore at https://arocha.org/en/the-conception-of-a-rocha-singapore/
