Last night I attended “the art of good sleep” at The Conran Shop, to celebrate the arrival of Floks into their store. Surround yourself in natural materials, wool is a super material. Where to start? A natural mattress topper! 🐑🐏🥰

There are a few tickets left for the two talks I am taking part in, so be quick! Sleeping environments and antiques will be my specialist subjects, I am going to be weaving in after all
I am very grateful for the recommendation to visit ‘With Limitations’ so many positives; amazing graphics for the show, a real positive atmosphere and very exciting. The fictional flat is a perfect way to present the work and the exhibition presents a side which doesn’t get enough press, the limitations to creativity but what I like is that the limitations are presented in a very creative way. Also that the limitations didn’t get in the way of the show, pieces produced despite struggles, and showing what a group of talented emerging designers can achieve. Must see!

I was very excited yesterday by the pieces by Prima Materia. Reclaimed door frames from a central London hotel refurbishment, any none wood elements, such as screws were drilled out and the hole filled with coloured dowel. Wall panels, seats, tables, I think the concept is brilliant, colours are gorgeous and graphical.

Emilio and I had a really good discussion about his art, fashion influence, longevity and subject matter. Very interesting guy, chatty too!

Ceramicist and ex interior designer Fay Markopoulou’s work is gorgeous, thoughtful and colourful, really caught me eye.
