Coombe End Manor set the stage for a truly decadent escape in the Cotswolds, to celebrate the launch of Season 1 for Disney+.

And in between it all… flour flying, sleeves rolled up, and a room full of familiar faces. Our Roly Poly masterclass, led by Jay and Lucy, brought a nostalgic British classic into the spotlight, with plenty of chaos, charm, and laughter 🤍

Pretty as a flower 🌸

We’re so thrilled that it’s Chelsea Flower Show time again, so we’re serving up something floral in spirit, but bold on the palate.

Charred red cabbage rolls with Abunu-abunu, coconut yoghurt and crispy corn 🌿

Recognise some ingredients? We shared a plated main version last week because it’s simply too good not to include twice.

We love cabbage paired with Ghanaian abunu–abunu (for the uninitiated, it’s a delicious green sauce made from leafy greens, onions and spices) and so developed the concept into an exciting canapé designed for contrast, freshness and a little touch of theatre. 💚

It’s hump day, cocktail hour is creeping closer… and it just so happens to be World Cocktail Day 🍑🥃

Which means there’s only one thing to do: talk about one of our all-time favourites, the Peach & Ginger Whisky Sour.

Originally dreamt up with our brilliant cocktail partners , we gave this crowd-pleaser a signature Ripe Avocado twist by swapping bourbon for Bains Cape Mountain Whisky, bringing a little African soul to every sip.

Peach liqueur, maple & ginger cordial, lemon, bitters… smooth, bright, a little fiery, and dangerously easy to love.
