Showcasing the animatic for this project. The story we chose to tell is one that affected not only us but we’re sure a lot of people all over the UK.
This was a story that was really dear to our hearts. Being from council estates ourselves, we couldn’t help but see ourselves as potential Grenfell victims. This is an event that we will never forget and George did such a wonderful job bringing a different perspective to the event that we felt we just had to help bring this story to life even more.

Some work in progress animation for the GTP project we have been working on. One of the best things about George’s podcast is his poetry, his play on words and rhyme scheme.

We wouldn’t be doing the project justice if we didn’t showcase this in the animation and the story we are telling. Hence why it was incredibly important to add some kinetic typography to highlight the importance of his words.

This is the animation after tie down, at this stage we have added more details to the character and also added some of the in-between animations.

Improving on the key animations we did previously and identifying where the shadows and highlights will be once we start adding colour and compositing.

Animation is not an easy process but it is one that can be a very satisfying process when everything comes together well. We worked very hard on this project and can’t wait for you guys to see the finished result.
